UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Circa 2nd quarter of the 4th century. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 1.97 g, 10 h), imitating Constantine (307-337), after 320. HHSH T(horizontal)HHO Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to left, wearing a zigzag necklace. Rev. IHOOH-HHHOHI / TST around wreath containing V / X X. Cf. RIC 143 (for possible prototype). Well struck and beautifully preserved. Extremely fine.
